Acrylic pourings

The following images were all created by means of acrylic pouring. However, following the pouring process during the drying phase, I modified and post-processed the images. Thus, the white chameleon was created directly below this section by applying white and colored acrylic ink to the cast and semi-dry image.

Foraging

This chameleon was also subsequently incorporated into the cast image.

Turtle I

The turtle was created by reinforcing its silhouette visible after casting.

In the Lagoon II

For these four images - In the Lagoon I-III and Hummingbirds - the background was also poured first. In the two upper paintings, the water and the background or reef were created from two different casting pots placed on the canvas at the same time. The background of the two lower images was created by pouring layered colors onto a slanted canvas.

In all four paintings, the fish or birds were then poured separately into the painting and finished with a brush. Dimensions of the paintings: 50x50 cm
